Our Mission
The Peru PreK-5 PTO is organized exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. The mission of the PTO is to enrich the education and personal development of each child enrolled at Peru Elementary School by providing and supporting the best possible environment through uniting parents/guardians, students, faculty, staff and the community.
Parent/Guardian and staff participation and support in PTO-sponsored events are key to the PTO’s success. There are many ways you can support our mission. We are always seeking monetary donations, event volunteers, and your ideas to support the teachers’ efforts in the classroom or that provide enriching opportunities for our students.
The PTO sponsors many events! Please check the event & meeting schedule below often for updates. We will send notices for upcoming events through ParentSquare and on our Facebook page. We also have an email list!
