Welcome to the School Counseling Department at Peru Central School District!

We are here to: Assist students in acquiring safe, respectful, and responsible attitudes. Advocate for all students encouraging them to develop to their fullest personal and academic potential. Collaborate and consult with other educators, parents, and community members on behalf of all students.

This is a link to a chart outlining the minimum course requirements for graduation established by the New York State Education Department. Students must have 22 credits to graduate. *Students with an IEP eligible for low pass option. Some students with a 504 plan may be eligible for low pass option.

This website contains information on the SUNY PLATTSBURGH Upward Bound program. Upward Bound is an exciting educational opportunity for students who have the potential to continue their education beyond high school. Eligible students are from modest income households and/or whose parents are not four-year college graduates. This federal TRIO program is completely funded by the U.S. Department of Education with no cost to the student or family.

The program helps to ensure that all youth with disabilities are prepared for employment, post-secondary education and community living when they leave school. ACCES-VR can provide a range of services to help eligible individuals reach an employment goal.
