Dear Peru School Community,
As we embark on the journey into the 2023-2024 school year, I am filled with immense pride and excitement to be part of a community that values education, growth, and the well-being of our children. Our commitment to the community’s children remains unwavering, and we are dedicated to fostering an environment that nurtures their academic, emotional, and social development.
The cornerstone of our commitment lies in our priority areas, each carefully designed to ensure a holistic and enriching experience for every student. First and foremost, we are dedicated to enhancing The Student Experience. Through a blend of relevant coursework, engaging in-school experiences, and thoughtfully curated out-of-school activities, we aim to provide students with meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, and discover their passions.
Equally important is our focus on Mental Health and Wellness. We recognize the critical role a supportive environment plays in fostering the well-being of our school community members. Our commitment extends to addressing specific needs related to belonging, equity, and safety for all, creating a space where every individual feels valued, heard, and supported.
In the realm of Operations, we strive to build a culture of respect, responsibility, and safety. Collective responsibility is key to how we regard our systems and spaces. By instilling a sense of accountability in every member of our community, we ensure that our school remains a safe, inclusive, and thriving space for all.

Peru Strategic Plan 2019-2022
The Peru Strategic Plan represents a community based strategic planning process. Our Vision is to prepare all students for success. Our Mission, to empower all students to be lifelong learners by providing a nurturing environment in which they are inspired to pursue their dreams and contribute to the global community. This effort is named for the overall aims and interests of our students, community, faculty and staff, and the means of achieving them within the next few years. Representatives including students, teachers, parents, and others from across the community will come together to recommend future goals for the school district.
